the Unlisted – essentials

Direct access to private markets to seize tomorrow’s trends

Unlisted companies represent a strategic lever for diversifying and boosting your portfolio. As a client of our private bank, you benefit from exclusive access to a universe of opportunities usually reserved to institutional investors. We support you throughout the investment process, using our expertise and network to offer you solutions that meet your performance and resilience objectives. Together, we develop a tailor-made allocation, adapted to your risk profile and constraints, with the focus on a long-term vision.

  1. An essential diversification component

Investing in unlisted companies allows you to participate in the development of international companies at various stages of their development: creation, expansion or transmission. This type of investment, oriented towards a long-term valuation, can generate significant returns while bringing real diversification to your portfolio.

  2. A longer investment horizon

Supporting private companies in their development by allocating capital and operational advice means a longer investment horizon than on traditional listed assets.

  3. Recognized expertise

Our approach to private equity is rooted in an entrepreneurial spirit and a continuous search for excellence. Thanks to the unwavering commitment of our teams and the strength of our Group, we identify and seize the best opportunities, providing you with both personalized and responsive support, thus guaranteeing the proper management of your investments and their long-term success.

Structured Products – essentials

A personalized approach to seize market opportunities

At Oddo BHF, we design structured products specifically adapted to your investment needs and to fluctuating market conditions. Thanks to our expertise and innovative capacity, we create flexible solutions that integrate performance and asset protection strategies. Whether your objective is to diversify your portfolio, optimise returns or manage risk, our structured products are tailor-made tools to help you achieve your financial goals efficiently and securely.

  1. What is a structured product?

A structured product is a sophisticated investment solution whose performance is based on an underlying asset, such as equities, stock market indices, commodities or interest rates, and which is governed by predefined conditions (gain/loss scenarios, maturity, level of capital protection, etc.). These products are based on a combination of debt instruments and derivatives, providing access to customised and diversified investment strategies. By incorporating a level of capital protection determined at inception, structured products can mitigate risk compared with a direct investment in the underlying asset. They offer an opportunity to optimise the risk-return trade-off, helping you to realise your investment ambitions while maintaining a degree of control over risk.

  2. What are the associated risks?

Like all financial products, structured products carry risks, including the risk of partial or total loss of the capital invested. The protection formulas apply at maturity only (or at early call dates), and do not predict the price fluctuation of the product in the event of resale before maturity (or early call). Structured products also present a credit risk in the event of default or bankruptcy of the issuer and/or its guarantor, a market risk (the resale price during the product's lifetime is calculated by the issuer on the basis of market parameters and may be below the value provided for in the formula) and, lastly, a liquidity risk. Investors are not guaranteed to be able to sell their product during its lifetime at a suitable price, which is why the recommended investment period is the product's maturity.

Any investment in financial products involves risks, in particular the risk of partial or total loss of capital, which you accept and must be financially able to bear. In view of these risks, all potential Investors must have the knowledge and experience necessary to assess the characteristics and risks associated with each transaction.
